Stonehenge in England and Venice in Italy (Chris)

-Stonehenge in England-

Stonehenge is one of the most popular monuments in the world.
The reason I chose this place is that Stonehenge is located in England, which is my favorite country.
It's also historic and looks like as if ancient god lived and looks very cool!
I can guess that If I go there, breeze will make me feel calm and peaceful.
Of course this was added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 1986.
It consists of a few big stones look like a gate.
I think the reason ancient people built this one is a kind of superstition.
I guess that they believed Stonehenge will keep them safe and peaceful from any disasters.
It's so surprising that Stonehenge was built in a long and long time ago but is still strong.
Therefore we can know that ancient people who lived in England were very intelligent and smart.

-Venice in Italy-

The reason I chose Venice is because I saw a movie about it.
The movie was impressive and beautiful.
While I was watching the movie, I thought "If I have a chance to visit there, I'll try it. It deserves going there."
I think everyone knows that Venice is one of the most romantic city all over the world.
Venice has a rich and diverse architectural style.
It is also famous of the Gothic style.
You can see what I'm saying pictures below a paragraph.
I'm sure everyone in the world will dream to have romantic time with a partner in Venice.
Atmosphere for love in Venice will make their love get stronger.

Radiohead : One of a famous band all around the world

I'm allowed to search a famous person in another country. So I researched about "radiohead" - a England band

They are total five members - "Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar, piano, beats), Jonny Greenwood (guitars, keyboards, other instruments), Ed O'brien (guitars, backing vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass, synthesisers), Phil Selway (drums, percussion). All members have been friends since they were in a primary school and Jonny and Colin are sibling. Of course the leader is Thom Yorke!
I usually listen to their music. When I first listened to their music, I felt as if it was strange and mysterious. But after a few monthes I realised that I was addicted by their music. I think their music is not commercial. It's progressive and experimental. It's not music for money. Maybe a their new album will be released soon. Everytime when they had released a album, it made me satisfied. So I am also expecting a this new album. If you wanna listen, I will recommend two albums - "The bends" and "In rainbows". You will fall into their atrractive music like me. Unfortunately they have never visited to Korea. I really hope that I wanna watch their live concert, not on TV and internet before I die.

-1 tbsp minced garlic
-1 nashi pear
-1 onion
-1 tbsp sesame oil
-Pinch pepper

Slice the scotch fillet as thin as possible.
Add Korean soy, water, sugar, garlic, salt and pepper.
Puree the nashi pear and onion in a blender and add this to the marinade.
Leave to marinate for approximately 30 minutes.
Just before cooking, mix through sesame oil.
Heat a heavy based pan and add either grape seed or olive oil.
Cook marinated fillet for around 3 minutes, adding the juice so as not to dry the beef.
Add sliced onion and spring onion and cook for another minute.
Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds, pine nuts and strips of very fine red pepper.

-Tip:
Koreans love to eat bulgogi by placing a small amount of steamed rice in a lettuce leaf, a slice of bulgogi and small amount of kimchi (pickled fermented vegetable available in Asian stores).
Roll up and eat. It is polite in Korea not to bite into your bulgogi parcel. Most Koreans will eat it in one bite.

Tourplan in Suwon in Korea (Chris)

Let me intoroduce my city to you.  My city is quite small so there are only a  few places to visit.

Day 1 - Visit The castle called Suwon-Hwasung
This is a castle that was built a long time ago.  When Korea was attacked by Japan a long time ago, this castle played an important role in defending it.   Anyway it's quite peaceful and calm.  You can see nice views and feel a cool breeze, especially at night.  Also, lots of couples go to this castle on romantic dates.

Day 2 - Visit the Japanese restaurant
If you like Japanese food (a raw fish and sushi), you have to visit this restaurant. The price is a little bit more expensive than any other Japanese restaurants. However I think it's reasonable. Especially with so-ju, I can't describe just how good it is.  You must try it!

Day 3 - Visit the most popular pub in my city
It was only opened 3 years ago but it has became one of the most popular places in my city. The best advantage of this pub is that prices are very cheap. So you can experience different types of alcohol very cheaply. Pictures show more than words. Look at the pictures below.

Day 3 - Visit the worldcup stadium
If you like sports and want to relax, you should visit here. You can watch a soccer match and do lots of exercises. It has a nice circumference and scenery so much better than any other parks. Also it has a good sports center. It's a very nice place to stay healthy.  It will offer you the opportunity to feel relaxed and comfortable.

Day 4 - Visit the club
It's the only club in my city, sadly.  But that's not all bad.  Because lots of good-looking clubbers in my city always come here every weekend. If you want to see good-looking clubbers and dance with them, visit us here and enjoy your self.

Chris

Hello, friends.

My name is Chris and I was born in 1987 on Jan 26.  I'm from South Korea.  My hobbies are listening to music, playing soccer and playing the guitar.  I also like to watch a sport match while drinking beer.  I like rock music very much, especially alternative, punk and modern.  I am a university student and my major is IT.  It's very boring so it always makes me tired.

I will stay in Australia until next September and after studying at Kaplan,  I will look for a full-time job. I think everything here in Sydney is better than my hometown except the cost of living.  So I'm enjoying my life in Sydney except it's so expensive.

I really hope to improve my English while I stay in Sydney.

Glad to meet you!
